My Introduction To The Industry

My introduction to this craft was just an accident. During the high-school days..when i was introduce to my classmate's brother name Nok-Nok, a very well respected make up artist in the locality, i learned a lot and it was invaluable. But i also learned something I did not like, the industry....the people....and ...the competition.... I was so weird because i felt like learning on my own in secret.
The college days was a good training ground for me, the social events and activities of the university and outside General Santos was a good exposure  for me and mingling with the different artists...the one to be friend and NOT to be friend..is hardest to find.
My first professional job for this, when a friend of mine Darvin Cajurao, a brilliant artist who dedicated most of his piece in the highest form of art in his LENS...merging  with Darvin.... was the best turning point in my dedicated craft... That is why DARFEL was created. I've learn a ton about this craft which was with Perfection.
I reluctantly signed up and joined local workshops to enhance my craft and change my perspective on the industry and met people i like and connected with.
DARFEL attended seminars and workshop here and abroad with the renowned resource person. Wedding, Fun-shots, and others get inquiries for dates and bookings is not unusual. Of course, i cant say No...but i also want to help.
The collaboration with the other artist in photography and working together was the best part... sharing ideas, concept and even challenging the nature  of different industry who want to help one another out and I' am luckily and fortunate to be part of the awesome growing network of artist here in General Santos.
And I am looking forward to working with other artist soon....
